It goes without saying that it isn’t easy to plan a wedding. There is so much to think about and to consider that it is all too easy to forget something or to not give it the careful consideration that you should. To help make sure that you keep in mind everything that you need to know about your special day, here is our guide to the most common thing that couples forget when planning a wedding.
What to do if it is bad weather
We all hope that the sun will be shining our special day, however, this isn’t always the case and even when you plan your special day during the summer months there is still a chance that the sun won’t be shining. It is great to be positive, but there is no harm in thinking about what you may do if it doesn’t quite work out the way that you hope and having a bad weather back up plan.
Assign the little jobs out
Rather than just being there to look great and walk you down the aisle, your wedding party is there to also help out on your special day too. Make sure that this works to your advantage by assigning out some of the little jobs and key tasks on your wedding day to your bridesmaids and groomsmen. The only thing to remember with this is that you need to divvy out the important things to the most trustworthy member of the group; not the one who you think will be a little worse for wear by the time the speeches start!
Think about the evening guests
Evening guests are the ones who haven’t quite made it into the main guest list, however, that doesn’t mean that they are not as important as the day guests. After all, in the most part these are the ones who will have brought the party. It is a good idea to make sure that you consider the evening guests for your wedding; especially when it comes to where they will sit during the party and how they will be comfortable; something that it is all too often overlooked.
Planning a wedding is stressful, no matter how you look at it, but if you think carefully about your plans and make sure that you have everything in place, then you will be sure to have a fantastic day with all those people who are most important to you.
