Welcome to One Splendid Day! Established in 2014, we are award winning experts in the wedding industry. We have a passion for creativity and style and will transform your day into a truly chic affair. Paying special attention to all of your ideas, we will work alongside you to create a day that reflects your story. We have a huge selection of beautiful props and wedding decorations for you to choose from. We will also create custom wedding signs for your big day. We can provide gorgeous, contemporary flowers for your wedding day and can source items for you and also set up and style anything you supply us with.
We work close to Cardiff, in Penarth, South Wales but offer a bespoke wedding venue styling service across much of the UK . We have lots of experience with a whole host of styles from the barn wedding to the tipi, garden marquee to the manor house. We have been featured on OK!, Rock My Wedding, Love My Dress and much more!

Hello, I'm Harriet
Hello! I'm Harriet, owner and creator of One Splendid Day. I live in South Wales but I have travelled, lived and worked all over the world! I have a masters degree in Education and I was a primary school teacher for many years!
While living in London I met my husband (a Welsh man) and we have since had two children. We have decided to settle in the lovely town of Penarth, South Wales.
While planning my own wedding I became obsessed with hunting for treasures and crafting. After the wedding I felt a real passion for the whole process... and didn't want to let it go! So here we are, an established wedding-styling business. Please do get in touch and we can chat over a cup of coffee (or tea...or whatever you fancy!)

No matter what you're drawn to; whether it be minimalist, timeless, elegant, or a romantic look, we will make sure it is chic and refined. We have a huge range of decorative items from linens to charger plates...you name it! Our team of stylists will ensure you have that picture-perfect day that you've dreamed of.
F L O R A L D E S I G N
Floristry is a passion of ours; we take a modern approach to floral design. We will choose flowers that will work in harmony with your venue and flow naturally with your overall wedding design. Using only sustainable techniques, we will create floral arrangements that will stop your guests in their tracks. We pride ourselves on using the best quality flowers. The local flower farms we work with, chosen for their fabulous blooms, are a testament to that.
We love the way our flowers can light up any venue, from your bouquets to a wedding arch. They are a stylish and unique statement, an attention-grabbing talking point and more than a nod to the contemporary and growing awareness of sustaining our precious planet. That said, you have the last word in everything and your personal taste will be the driving force.
